I’m Tess M. Calloway, a Welsh author drawing on nearly forty years in the international cosmetics industry to write mysteries about science, money, power—and the people caught between them.
My career has taken me behind laboratory doors, into confidential boardrooms and through the research supporting the promises made by beauty products. That experience provides the foundations for a fictional world in which commercial ambition, scientific possibility and human choices can have deadly consequences.
The Zoe Blaise Mysteries follow forensic accountant Zoe Blaise and the unconventional team at Orpheus Consulting. With Wales at their heart and investigations reaching across the world, these character-driven thrillers explore what happens when following the evidence threatens people with too much to lose.
